DAWN debuted in 2016 as part of the boy group PENTAGON, where he wrote hits like Shine, Critical Beauty, shaping the music he stood on from the very beginning. In 2019, DAWN made his solo debut with the single MONEY and continued his career with the EP DAWNDIDIDAWN where he started to share his personal stories. with the unit EP 1+1=1, a collaboration with HyunA, and the single Stupid Cool. DAWN reached his charting success with Dear My Light. It charted for 25 consecutive weeks. His EP Narcissus established him as a multifaceted and versatile artist. To see DAWN only as a recording artist is to see half of him. He is a creative in the fullest sense, and shapes the visual language and design of his own world. For him, sound and visual are two languages for building one universe, made from end to end by his own hand. His path has been as phenomenal as it has been unconventional. From an idol group, to a genre-blurring unit, to standing under his own name as an independent creative, DAWN has consistently chosen what is true to him. DAWN is now onto his next chapter: not merely as a solo artist, but as a creative building a complete sound-and-vision world entirely his own.
