Nigerian-born, Texas-raised duo KAIRO, comprised of identical twin brothers, AK and EJ, debuts their latest single and video “HALO." On it, KAIRO navigates that feeling of being unable to shake someone — when love lingers in your thoughts in a way that feels both comforting and consuming. The recurring lyric “you hover on my mind like a halo” becomes both a metaphor and a mantra. KAIRO continues to redefine what the next generation of music both looks and sounds like. They most recently released IS IT I? feat. Nigeria's Bloody Civilian and PLACEHOLDER feat. buzzing alt-pop artist Amelia Moore following the debut of their first studio album ARE WE THERE YET?, which chronicles their journey as Nigerian-American immigrants carving their place in music. They formally debuted in 2022 with their debut EP Love Letters from Houston, earning 40 million global streams across platforms and acclaim from the likes of Billboard, Zane Lowe, GRAMMY.com, and more. Their subsequent EP, Return To Sender, featured the breakout track “Movie Star,” which surpassed 10 million global streams.
