Sowdy is a Perth rapper and producer who has established himself as a generational auteur within hip-hop. Sprawling across 13 meditative tracks, Sowdy reflects on life in his 20s, examining love, loss, grief, pain, joy and trauma through a collection of autobiographical vignettes. Presented as a portrait of the artist at a pivotal point in his life, Auteur explores the relationship between the person, the artist and the worlds he creates.
