Bug Nelson

Bug Nelson was in tenth grade the first time he wrote his own lyrics, substituting a week’s worth of math equations for lowbrow lines scribbled on grid paper. Now, he’s bringing you that “Hug your grandmother” music, that “Matthew McConaughey in Mud” music. For fans of Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, Mac Miller, The Alchemist, Conductor Williams, Boldy James and others in the dusty rap vein, Bug Nelson is a perfect addition to your get-high-rotation, car ride playlist and library as a whole. In July 2026, Bug released his first full-length project, Combustible Body Armor, alongside Cusho. Scoring features from underground names such as Josh Alias, Oatmeal Jenkins and Cooper, Bug was able to create a world within each track that keeps your ear glued to the speaker. bugnelson.com
