Living Room

Living Room is a German producer, sound engineer, and DJ based in Munich. Shaped by years of classical music training and decades of studio experience, his work blends musical sophistication with a warm, organic approach to modern production. He began producing electronic music in the late 1990s and founded Rockboxstudio in 2000. The studio quickly became a creative hub for reggae, hip-hop, and electronic artists, helping shape a distinctive sound rooted in groove, atmosphere, and musical depth. Living Room gained international recognition with the release of his album Liquid Lounge in 2006, followed by Liquid Jazz in 2007. Since then, he has continued crafting soulful, genre-blending music that moves effortlessly between jazz, downtempo, lo-fi hip-hop, jazzy house and electronic sounds. Known for his warm textures, rich harmonies, and detailed productions, Living Room creates timeless soundscapes that transcend typical electronic music — balancing laid-back rhythms with deep musicality and emotion.
