Seeking the Sublime is a side project/moniker of mine (my main moniker is Stephen Weber). on which I release ambient music and relaxing music compositions. I truly appreciate you taking the time to listen to my music. An emergent theme in my music is a quest for beauty and the sublime, an awe of nature, and the healing and cathartic power of music. I'm a pianist/composer/educator/organist, now retired after 35 years of university teaching and administration. I was fortunate to perform and/or lecture abroad extensively in my role as an endowed professor, including research presentations, workshops, and/or performances in Greece, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, Japan, Estonia, and the United States. My Ph. D. is a unique interdisciplinary fine arts degree with an emphasis in composition and piano pedagogy. My compositional output spans multiple genres. Again, my deepest appreciation to you for allowing my art to be a part of your life.
Feel free to visit and follow my other monikers: 1) Stephen Weber, 2) PostGenre (electronic/experimental), 3) In Clouds and Stars (hymn tune arrangements), 4) When Nature Speaks (nature-inspired) 5) Dreams and Ditties (music for children) 6) ReEnvision (electronic arrangements of classics 7) Indelible Images (inspired by places), 8) Merris Howsen (intimate piano), 9) Eleccentric (hybrid/experimental/multi-genre electronic). Thanks for stopping by; I truly appreciate all my listeners!
