Seeking the Sublime is a side project/moniker of mine (my main moniker is Stephen Weber). on which I release ambient music and relaxing music compositions. I truly appreciate you taking the time to listen to my music. An emergent theme in my music is a quest for beauty and the sublime, an awe of nature, and the healing and cathartic power of music. I'm a pianist/composer/educator/organist, now retired after 35 years of university teaching and administration. I was fortunate to perform and/or lecture abroad extensively in my role as an endowed professor, including research presentations, workshops, and/or performances in Greece, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, Japan, Estonia, and the United States. My Ph. D. is a unique interdisciplinary fine arts degree with an emphasis in composition and piano pedagogy. My compositional output spans multiple genres.
