Sven Jungbeck

He began playing guitar at the age of 13 and later studied jazz, rock, and pop guitar in Arnhem, Netherlands. Early on, he toured with Gypsy bands across Europe, and since 2015 he has been a member of the renowned Joscho Stephan Trio, where he contributes not only as a rhythm guitarist but also as a soloist and creative force. At the same time, he has continued to develop his own projects: from the fingerstyle-driven album Daydream to crossover formats such as Django Latino . His project Sven Jungbeck invites and Invites, Vol. 2 brought together leading voices like Olli Soikkeli , Jimmy Rosenberg, Robin Nolan, Mozes Rosenberg , Duved Dunayevsky reflecting his drive to merge tradition with fresh ideas. In 2023, he released Tales from an Old Guitar on Hot Club Records – an album entirely of original compositions. Whether in intimate solo arrangements, energetic Gypsy Jazz trios, or genre-blending collaborations, Sven Jungbeck represents virtuosity, passion, and artistic openness.
