Ashley Zarah is an Iranian, global Pop artist from Los Angeles, CA. Born to a family of Iranian refugees, her multicultural and genre-bending music represents the sound of “Iranian-America," relaying stories of the human condition that break barriers and borders. While on scholarship at the highly prestigious art institution, Berklee College of Music, she revealed herself to be both a prolific writer and expressive vocalist but truly hooked viewers with her ability to transcend cultural and generational differences with her unifying storytelling - and despite rising as a Pop icon in the Iranian diaspora, continues to use her platform to bravely represent the people, particularly the women and indigenous minorities, of Iran and the Middle East.
