Biography & Metadata

HANGAWI (fka SYLVIA M) is a Korean indie singer-songwriter based in Seoul, South Korea. She writes songs for the feelings people try to hide. Blending dreamy pop melodies with honest, bittersweet lyrics, her music explores unspoken crushes, heartbreak, longing, family trauma, NPD themes, and the courage to move forward as a late-bloomer artist. Inspired by Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, and PinkPantheress, she creates emotional, atmospheric indie/hyperpop with a unique Korean sensibility. Debut Single: "Anyway" (2026) Latest Release: "NPD" (July 2026)
