Jimmy October

Jimmy October, is a multi-genre, national award-winning artist from Trinidad & Tobago. October started off making his name locally as a poet and rapper opening shows for the likes of J.Cole, Major Lazer, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Machel Montano. He landed his first international release - “No Time” in 2017 with DJ / Producer Steve Aoki, off of his album KOLONY. Since then he’s tapped deeper into the roots of where he’s from and embraced home - The Caribbean, in a way he’d never done before. With songs such as “Magic” with Kes The Band, Jimmy has fashioned in a sound that he’s coined “New Calypso” and solidified himself as a groovy, genre bender combining native sounds Soca and Calypso with other genres such as Afrobeats, Dancehall, Hip Hop & Rnb.
