Canadian decibel pushers Structures specialize in a punishing blend of tech-heavy hardcore and inventive and kinetic progressive metal. After making waves with their debut EP in 2010 and two acclaimed albums on Sumerian Records, the band returned from hiatus in 2021 with the EP None of the Above. Based out of Toronto, Structures formed in 2009 around the talents of guitarist Spyros Georgiou, guitarist/vocalist Brendon Padjasek, and drummer Andrew McEnaney. The group issued a five-song EP called All of the Above at the end of their inaugural year. After inking a deal with Sumerian Records, Structures began work on their full-length debut, 2011's potent Divided By. Life Through a Window, the group's assured sophomore outing, followed in early 2014.
