Biography & Metadata

Drum and bass was love at first sound. Every track 17Four makes is still chasing that. Some lean reggae, some go industrial, some bring a rock edge, all of them built on that timeless combination of a kick and a bassline. The result is a catalog that never stops moving, because the pursuit never stops. It started in high school with an iPod Nano and a track called "La Tarantula" by Pendulum. That song changed everything. It's why the name 17Four exists, a straight tribute to the genre that rewired him. Born in East Los Angeles, Downey, California. Nicholas Foster paid his dues the long way, producing and engineering over a hundred songs for over fifty artists before he ever got to make his own. Every one of those sessions built the ears you're about to hear. This is what it was for. He's been patient. He's been waiting. And now those contracts are complete, and he's coming out of the gate with everything he has. Nothing held back. Drawing on the worlds of Modern Jungle, Dancehall, Skrillex, and The Prodigy, this is the sound he's been working toward his whole life. Transparency matters here. 17Four uses AI for editing and backup vocals the same way the industry has always used EQ and stem work, as a tool. No different than the AI that helped shape this bio. The vision and the arrangement are his. New music every week. No gatekeepers. If you've ever had a song change your life, this is for you. Listen along. Welcome to 17Four.
