True Damage

Virtual hip-hop group True Damage was born when K/DA’s lead rapper Akali (Soyeon of (G)I-dle) sought to bring together five up-and-coming artists in an ambitious, genre-defying collaboration. Thanks to the raw talents of Ekko (Thutmose, Duckwrth), Senna (Keke Palmer), and Qiyana (Becky G), the group struck a charged balance between their roots in trap, hip-hop, EDM, and R&B. Produced by selective hitmaker Yasuo, they forged a glitchy, cinematic anthem—a team project that incorporated each artist’s signature into the heart of the track. True Damage’s “Giants” debuted at Worlds 2019 in Paris to worldwide acclaim, with the crew unveiling a collab with Louis Vuitton.
