Biography & Metadata
Born in the island of Crete, Greece, Amanati began studying classical piano and music theory at the age of 8, later developing a deep connection with electronic music and club culture. These contrasting influences, classical training, electronic sound, and echoes of Greek folk tradition, laid the foundation for a vision that would later transcend genres. From this vision a new genre emerged: Exotic Electronic Music. Merging symphonic discipline, electronic intensity, and folk heritage, it is hypnotic in rhythm and cinematic in atmosphere, exploring sensuality, spirituality, mystery, and the contrast between light and darkness, the ancient and the futuristic. Amanati’s track “Mohë Mohë” was featured in the official soundtrack of The Killer’s Game, starring Dave Bautista and Sofia Boutella. His music has also been used by Louis Vuitton for its Mythica show in Morocco, Vogue Greece, and Playboy magazine. His work and artistic vision have been featured in Vogue Türkiye, Rolling Stone UK, Forbes México, Billboard Brasil and Mixmag Netherlands. Remaining anonymous behind his signature mask, Amanati places the focus entirely on the world surrounding the music, one that continues to evolve beyond genre, identity, and convention.
