Hayseed Dixie

The undisputed creators of their own musical genre, "Rockgrass," Hayseed Dixie began in 2001 with one clear mantra: "The Lost Highway of Hank Williams and the Highway To Hell of AC/DC are the same damn road." Hard rock and hard country music come from exactly the same types of people, living through and singing about the same situations, and with the same attitude and spirit. Hayseed Dixie are a hard rock band playing bluegrass instruments, not a bluegrass band trying to play rock songs, and they play both styles with equal ease and blend them together in an entirely individual way. Hayseed Dixie have released 20 studio albums and EPs of Rockgrass re-workings of rock, R&B, and metal songs as well as many original songs, all delivered with their own inimitable spirit. Accept no imitations.
