LissiBe

LissiBe - songs for the way home to yourself. LissiBe is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. Her indie-soul pairs raw, close-up vocals with warm guitar, shaded by Scandinavian melancholy. She lives in a small wagon behind Frognerparken in Oslo, and many of her songs begin on the bench outside. They make room for the things we don't always know how to say. She writes about the longing to belong, the need to be seen, and the quiet strength it takes to choose yourself. There is tenderness in the wounds, defiance in the truth, and light even in the darkest places. Inspired by Ani DiFranco, Anne Grete Preus and Joni Mitchell, LissiBe writes from the place where pain meets possibility - where we let go of who we had to be and begin to meet who we are. Her songs don't pretend to have it all figured out. They dare to need, to love, and to tell the truth. You don't have to be finished healing to find your way home.
