Singer who raps / rapper who sings, Evita Koné is an American-Swiss-Chadian songwriter, composer and performer actively involved in the Geneva neo-soul/hip-hop/r&b music scene, particularly with her group Captains of The Imagination and the collective Herd Culture Kids. After her first EP “Break”, produced by the wizardly Swiss composer Christophe Calpini, Evita Koné now reveals her first solo LP, "Build + Bloom". This time she has full creative control and assembles a team of some of the best up-and-coming jazz & hip-hop producers from Switzerland, France & the UK. Whether live or on wax, in solo or in collaboration, Evita Koné always delivers depth and breadth in subject matter, melodies and lyrics.
