Dayonthetrack

Dayonthetrack is a Ghanaian Afroheart artist, songwriter, and producer whose emotionally rich songwriting and genre-blending sound have established him as one of the country's most promising emerging talents. He first stepped into the spotlight in November 2019 with appearances on Ground Up Chale's collaborative project, We Outside; Y3 Wɔ Abɔnten Vol. 1, where he featured on three tracks, introducing audiences to his distinctive voice and songwriting ability. Following the project, Dayonthetrack quickly earned recognition as a songwriter, contributing to several notable records, including "Baajo," "Celebrate," and "Toxic" by Kwesi Arthur, while also contributing lyrics to Adekunle Gold's verse on "Toxic." He further expanded his profile by appearing on two tracks from Kwesi Arthur's acclaimed album, Son of Jacob, a project that achieved significant streaming success and received multiple prestigious award nominations. In July 2023, Dayonthetrack released his debut EP, Sounds and Waves, marking his arrival as a solo artist. The project has accumulated more than two million streams across digital platforms, with its breakout single "Ashawo" becoming a defining moment in his career. The song has generated over 100 million views across TikTok, inspiring thousands of user-generated videos and introducing his music to a global audience.
