Franklin Embry

Franklin Embry is a Kentucky-raised hip hop artist blending Bluegrass Roots with Southern Hip Hop. Born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky, his music sounds like home — haul roads, redemption, and real life over 808s and steel strings. A Full Sail University audio engineering grad, Franklin built his foundation behind the boards before stepping fully into the spotlight. His 2018 breakout record “Fifty” marked a turning point in his independent career. After years battling alcohol addiction, he chose sobriety on October 2, 2021 — and that decision changed everything. His music isn’t about glorifying chaos. It’s about surviving it. Proof addiction doesn’t get the final chapter.
