Biography & Metadata

Ry Flora, born Ryan Dowling, is a Boston-native music producer, instrumentalist, and audio engineer. His nearly decade-long musical journey began at age 14, when he started tinkering with GarageBand on a rented laptop. Now 24, Ryan has released three notable projects: his debut album radiant living, the solo EP florescence, and a collaborative EP titled feel something again. In addition, he has shared a diverse array of singles and remixes, amassing a total of 33 official releases under the name Ry Flora. Both as a primary artist and a behind-the-scenes producer, Ryan has collaborated with nearly 20 established musicians, generating over 4 million streams and reaching an audience of more than 1 million listeners across digital platforms. Though he has worked under contracts with some of the world’s most prominent labels, like Atlantic Records, Ryan has remained fully independent. His work has earned notable recognition, including features on Spotify’s editorial playlists such as the competitive New Music Friday and 25+ more. At 22, Ryan joined iZotope as a full-time Product Designer. He collaborates with a world-class team to create industry-standard audio production software used by music and audio professionals worldwide, reaching billions of listeners.
