Cody Himself

Cody is a Southern Californian currently residing in Salt Lake City. His music has been inspired by his journey through sobriety from alcohol, which provides a unique perspective on life through the lens of a recovering addict. His first album, “I HATE IT HERE,” took the pain and anguish from the lows of his alcoholism, and allowed him to express the pain he felt throughout that period in his life. He followed up with a couple of singles before dropping his EP, “Slow Burn,” which is a collaborative effort with the legendary ClockworkDJ and is a melodic and uplifting vibe that will have you singing along the whole way through. His most recent single, “The Light” is a nod to his sobriety and the new life that he’s built from it. He celebrated 5 years sober from alcohol on January 24, 2026 and is unapologetically vocal about the successes he’s seen from his endeavors. He is currently releasing a new song monthly, so stay tuned for more music!
