Libë

London-born and of Nigerian heritage, singer-songwriter Libë ("Lib-ee") was initially on track for a degree in law, but during the latter part of her gap year, Libë made the daring decision to follow her passion for music instead. Classically trained in both Piano Practical and Theory from the young age of five, Libë took an unexpected turn towards Neo-soul and R&B where she found her musical home. Her sound is a vibrant fusion, drawing inspiration from R&B, Gospel, Soul, and Afrobeats, often infused with inventive lyrics. Her early love for music was shaped by Sunday drives to church listening to classics from Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Anita Baker, and Prince—alongside contemporary influences like Snoh Aalegra , DESTIN CONRAD, Erykah Badu, Smino, and Lucky Daye.
