Biography & Metadata

Born and raised in Scarsdale, New York, singer-songwriter Eshan Agarwal has been writing and recording music since he was five years old. What began as simple melodies gradually developed into a deeper form of storytelling, eventually leading him to share his music publicly. Now based in Manhattan while attending college, Agarwal draws inspiration from his surroundings and a wide range of influences, including classic rock, musical theatre, jazz, R&B, and pop. His creative approach is also shaped by synesthesia, a sensory experience where sounds appear as colors in his mind, which influences how he builds the emotional atmosphere of his songs. Agarwal first introduced his music with the EP Lost, followed by singles such as “Never After,” “Half of the Way,” and “Till the Moment is Right.” More recently, he began a new chapter with “The Siren,” “Last Hour,” and “That One’s On Me,” the first releases from his debut album Strangers Again. This project explores the full emotional cycle of relationships with a mix of honesty and self-aware humor, reflecting on heartbreak and self-reflection while aiming to create moments listeners can relate to in their own lives.
