Michael Taylor

Michael Taylor writes like he’s scoring a movie about your life. With roots in folk-pop and the emotional gravity of artists like Ed Sheeran, NEEDTOBREATHE, and Taylor Swift, his music feels sweeping yet intimate—built for long drives, open skies, and moments that change everything. After surviving a near-fatal motorcycle crash, Michael walked away from his old life and dove headfirst into a new one—moving to Nashville to chase the dream that had always called to him. He writes every lyric himself, crafting songs that are as personal as they are cinematic, with the help of collaborators like Andrew Furze, Hayley Warner, and Jesse Felder. His breakout single, "Without You," landed on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Country for six weeks—and he’s just getting started. If you’re drawn to story-rich songs with cathartic payoffs, you’re in the right place.
