Biography & Metadata

"A protest against all forms of life voiced through works of pain and isolation." Sorry... is a one-man depressive black metal project (DSBM) from Greece, founded in 2019 by Dimitrios. After the release of his debut EP Failure Years of Neglect Apathy (2019) Dimitrios has continued to lead the project solo, occasionally inviting various session musicians. The following year saw the release of two more EPs Bereavement of Existence and Saudade (both 2020) continuing the project’s raw exploration of themes such as depression, anxiety, and emotional distress. Over the next few years, he released three full-length albums. All That Died Was My Innocence (2021) became a defining album for the project, bringing greater recognition to Sorry... within the DSBM scene. The exceptional Innocence . Love . Sadness (2022) saw the project diverge into happier melodies, offering an ironic twist on the genre. Returning to its roots Self Inflicted Razor Cutting (2023) brought back the emotionally anguished atmosphere of its earlier work while showcasing a more refined sound. In 2024, he returned with the EP Never Fail to Disappoint exploring themes of self‑isolation, and the disappointment of those around you. Later that year he released the full-length album Drowned in Misery featuring anxious guitar riffs and desperate vocals recorded during moments of heightened distress. Fragile (2025) marks his most ambitious work to date, bringing together DSBM with haunting darkwave synths.
