Planka is an iconic dance star of the 2000s disco era with an audience of millions. In the early 2000s, their song Zabyla ne pomnyu topped the charts on Hit-FM, DFM, and Radio Record, while the music video for Smertny grekh was on heavy rotation on MTV Russia. In 2025, their hit Na grani bolevogo poroga went viral on TikTok. The song's topic channel on YouTube has accumulated over three million views, while numerous speed-up and nightcore remixes gather millions of streams. The track Palets-Pistolet was featured in the parody movie Shmatrix. In total, Planka has released several CD albums, over one hundred published tracks, and more than a dozen radio hits that have conquered the top spots of Russian charts. Planka actively tours the country as part of the 90s and 2000s Disco projects, performing a club program that includes both their own hits and original remakes or mashups of the best dance anthems from that era.
