Biography & Metadata
He entered the world of music in 1977 at the age of 14, preparing tracks for DJs on the first Italian private radio stations. But he didn't like this, and immediately became passionate about the art of DJing. The first club he worked at was the “Shangri là” in Rome, and he later joined the staff at the Penny Club in Frascati, still considered one of the most important clubs in central Italy at that time. He worked as a DJ until 1986, meanwhile beginning to explore the world of recording studios, with his apprenticeship lasting until 1989. In the same year, he founded Universe Recording with other musicians, producing his first album entitled TEC-NO-LIMITED-AREA, followed by others produced for Musica Studio Watt Roma. He then participated in the creation of the compilation FELLINIANA, dedicated to the great maestro Federico Fellini on the occasion of the Oscars and published by Flying Records. In the summer of 1993, he worked as co-producer of the single for Cutting Records LAURA O & THE HEARTBEAT LINE “RHYTHM”, which sold 80,000 copies in the United States, with various licences in Europe, radio broadcasts and guests at Midem. It was a great period, but the artists were independent and in 1995 Massimo founded his own production label. Today, he has turned his DJ experience into a hobby and spends some evenings with his old friends in clubs, playing vinyl or CDs, old or new music, it makes no difference. Now the most important thing is the music.
