The album would go on to become a RIAA double-certified platinum album while “Tootsee Roll” reached number 1 on the Billboard Rap Charts. “Tootsee Roll” spent an astonishing 27 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts, spending four months in the top 20 before finally reaching Top 10 success at #8. Tootsee Roll also spent seven weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs Chart and a record breaking 54 weeks on this chart in total making “Tootsee Roll” the longest running Rap Song all time in the history of the Billboard chart! The second single, “Kitty Kitty”, immediately followed and was certified Gold peaking at number 2 on the Billboard Rap Charts.
