"Music got this grip that I don't know how to disentangle myself from. It's one great hobby that I'm very willing to share with everyone. I write songs, and I believe that good music is the language that sooths the heart, the soul and the mind alike. Well thought out words and inspirational hooks is key to moral decency and music is the vehicle that drives this message to the human consciousness. A good tune is the best diction to express ones feelings and the best way to courageously say what we would otherwise find most difficult to say. He was Born in Lagos Nigeria with the birth name IkeChukwu Mgborogwu Uwalaka. He first appeared in the Nigeria music scene in 2007 with an Afrocentric tune and with the artist name Iyke Uwalaka. He has being featured on Nigeria national TV a couple of times, has performed to the audience of a party of European ambassadors, to mention but a few. Iyke Stevens is also a self-taught producer and as well as a self-taught sound engineer. He has an eclectic taste for music and his tunes has a feel of many genres.
