Biography & Metadata

Dorian Popa is a Romanian actor, singer and composer, who made his debut in the phenomenon band - LaLa Band - in 2011, which was formed during “Pariu cu Viata”, a Romanian musical-soap opera. Two years passed by and Dorian released his first single “Cat trei”, a very optimistic song, dedicated to teenagers, as Dorian said. After his debut single, the artist launched two songs: “Pe placul tau” and “Dragoste nebuna”, with JO. His breaking hit, in the national charts, was “Nimeni altcineva”, a collaboration with Corina, a well-known Romanian singer. The music video for this song had acro-yoga poses, creating a very hot summer song. After this song, he made other collaborations with many important names in the Romanian industry: Ruby, What’s UP, Giulia Anghelescu or Liviu Teodorescu. “Buna, ce mai zici?”, featuring Ruby, became the lead hit from all the collaborations, followed by the succes of „Fanele” the featuring with Liviu Teodorescu and Laura Giurcanu. “Fanele” was meant to be a funny song, dedicated to their female fans, but the song exploded on every social media platform. During 2017, Dorian developed his vlogging skills and his fanbase became bigger and bigger as the months passed by. He released his next single “Buna, mama” as a dedicattion to his mother. On November 1st, 2017, his song “Ghinionist” was launched with a video, and became the soundtrack of the Romanian movie “Ghinionist”.
