Biography & Metadata

Sílvia Pérez Cruz (Palafrugell, Girona, 1983) has one of the most stunning voices of recent years. As a singer and composer she speaks the language of music, and has done so since she was a little child. Raised within the tradition of popular Iberian and Latin American song, she is also educated in jazz and classical music. Caught up in the flamenco spell, her supernatural connection produces an astonishing way of singing that can only be hers. Sílvia can’t be boxed into only one music style. She is versatile and very personal, -two qualities which rarely coincide, and which define her exactly-. Faithful to all styles of music she touches, she never loses her own essence when performing. Sílvia has joined multiple projects and recordings in the past years and has collaborated with artists such as Jorge Drexler, Rocío Molina, Toquinho, Natalia Lafourcade, Lila Downs, Rosalía, Joan Manuel Serrat, Lluís Llach, Damien Rice, Residente or Juan Falú, among others. In 2026, she continues to expand the boundaries of her creative universe. Sílvia has new original songs to share, with familiar sounds and new horizons, new forms. Since she knew she would sing at the dreamlike Olympia in Paris, her imagination has not stopped producing sounds and images, leading to this new journey, which began taking shape in 2023 and will culminate in February 2026 with Oral_Abisal, a deeply personal work marked by her unique sensibility.
