Jay Coast

Jay Coast is a boundary-pushing artist whose sound fuses the soul of hip-hop, the warmth of R&B, and the uplifting spirit of reggae into what he calls the “Coast Sound.” With a smooth yet commanding flow, his music carries both rhythm and reflection crafted to energize, inspire, and leave a lasting impression. Shaped by timeless influences like Bob Marley & The Wailers, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Earth, Wind & Fire, Coast channels their spirit of innovation while carving out his own lane. Today, his artistry continues to evolve, drawing inspiration from modern visionaries such as Mac Miller, Tyler, the Creator, and Anderson .Paak fueling a sound that blends honesty, groove, and style. Raised between East St. Louis, IL and St. Louis, MO, Coast’s perspective reflects both resilience and ambition. Growing up in a place where making it past eighteen isn’t promised, he turned adversity into drive choosing creativity, discipline, and vision as his path forward. His journey embodies a simple but powerful truth: keep a clear head, set bold goals, and do everything in your power to make them real. More than music, Jay Coast represents perseverance, positivity, and passion an artist building not just songs, but a legacy.
