Jkellz

Jkellz is an artist that fuses his life, lyrics and sprinkles in some of his self stylized “Swank” to show where he’s been and where he’s bound to go. Hailing from New York City, hip hop has been ever present and now is his chance to make his mark in the culture. The culture that his idols Nas, Jay-Z and André 3000 helped build and the culture his inspirations J. Cole, Drake and Kendrick Lamar helped propel forward.
His sound is fortified by his range of flows and melodies that he can adapt to different beat styles. Regardless of the flow, he incorporates references from all the media that influenced him. From hip hop culture itself to anime and video games to vestiges of 90’s nostalgia, he crafts his bars to be an embodiment of himself in word form. His self reflective bars spark self reflection within the listener, creating a relatable experience. An experience that gives a full meaning to the saying “The past is the past, the future is now.” The future is what you decide to make of your past, and Jkellz makes his past into his craft.
