Rex Orange County

Alex O’Connor, known globally as Rex Orange County, is a multi-platinum singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. To date, he has amassed over 5 billion career streams and earned 4 RIAA platinum certifications. Rex was just 16 when he self-released his debut album, bcos u will never b free. The project caught the attention of Tyler, The Creator, sparking a foundational collaboration that featured Rex on two tracks for Tyler’s acclaimed album Flower Boy. From there, Rex’s solo career skyrocketed. His sophomore album Apricot Princess (2017) cracked the Top 10 of the US Billboard Independent Albums Chart, while 2019’s PONY reached #3 on the Billboard 200. By 2022, his fourth album WHO CARES? reunited him with Tyler, The Creator and went straight to #1 on the UK album chart, while hitting #2 in Australia and #5 in the US. Always evolving, Rex's recent work bridges the gap between indie-pop sensibility and heavy-hitting collaborations. His 2024 album, The Alexander Technique, featured artist and producer James Blake. That same year, his feature on Ravyn Lenae's "Love Me Not" (produced by DJ Dahi) earned a VMA nomination for "Song of the Summer." Stepping into 2025, Rex continues to push boundaries, releasing two celebrated collaborative tracks with Daniel Caesar ("Rearrange My World" and "There’s A Field"), alongside songwriting contributions from Mustafa and Devonté Hynes, followed by the Pharrell Williams-produced standout single "Take A Drive."
