In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical influence has to be my Dad's basement band. Every Friday evening they'd introduce me to the groundbreaking music of a previous generation: The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Grateful Dead, The Eagles. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Spotify, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dr. Dre, 2001 Eminem, Recovery (Deluxe Edition) Mac Miller, Watching Movies with the Sound Off (Deluxe Edition) To me, these are the standout albums that reshaped the sound of Hip-Hop. Their creation came because the artists weren't afraid to push musical boundaries, redefining the subject matter expressed and ability to unify that Hip-Hop has developed. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? 3 months after writing Old Soul, I was recording with my friend who got me studio access at his college. The first time I heard it back, sounding exactly how I heard it when I wrote it months prior, was one of the most beautiful feelings in my life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist? This is just the beginning. Of course I want to tour the world and meet the fans, but I'm most excited about developing my musical skills more, and hearing the music I release 10 years from now.
