KILLJEI

Killjei is a genre-blurring artist raised between Orlando and Montreal, with a surreal sonic universe shaped by early influences like Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and Flying Lotus. He began rapping at 14, producing at 19, and engineering his sound by 21. With roots in manga and storytelling, Killjei creates music as a form of world-building—blending hip hop, experimental electronic, jazz, and folk into something raw, emotional, and cinematic. Formerly known as Jei Bandit, he's released multiple self-produced projects and performed across Quebec. Now working on High Strangeness—a love-and-UFO-infused journey—and a live band-driven project, Killjei continues to expand the boundaries of sound and spirit.
