Betelgeize

Betelgeize (also known as Sergey Pushkin) is the founder of the It's Good To Be a Tree, the regional contact of Burning Man in Russia, art-director of Luna the Artcrane, ambassador of Skypark!Live festival, one of the founders of the Leveldva music label, a musician and producer. Over the years of his creative activity, he took part in the festivals Signal, Arhstoyanie, Afrikaburn, Burning Man, Midsummer Night Dream, Simiram, Moscow Decompression, performed at House of Yes in New York, Katerblau in Berlin and other important points of the club world. His music has been published on Leveldva (Russia), Urban Cosmonaut Radio, Serafin Audio Imprint (Germany), Nomad Sounds (France), Echoes from Venus (Switzerland), Wayu Records, Talpa Rec., Cosmic Awakenings (USA). His first album, Storytailor (2020), launched a label dedicated to his two greatest passions in life – music and community. The research behind It’s Good To Be a Tree in the field of art is precisely about that. At the end of 2023, he released his new album El Halcón Lucido y El Dragón Negro, unveiling new facets of his rhythmic, delicate, and life-affirming sound.
