Orbital Drum System

A party conversation about music in 2014 turned into a deep friendship and eventually the Orbital Drum System. The duo – Cologne-based producer OHYEAH and Dortmund DJ CHIVER – had already been active with their own events and solo projects before officially joining forces in 2019. Their sound blends influences from (Italo) Disco, (French) House and touches of Techno, Acid and Trance. After early tracks and remixes, their first EP landed on the Canadian label BADLQQK in 2020, including a remix by Larse. Since then they’ve collaborated with names such as Kronol & Dynamique and released on labels like True Romance, Letters to Nina, theBasementDiscos & Miura Records, Streettracks and WITHINAGRAVE, while holding a residency at Dortmund’s Oma Doris and being part of the furious Diskologne collective in Cologne.
