Whimsy and the Bee

The founding members of Whimsy and the Bee found each other when Christopher filled in as the bassist for a local band in Nashville, TN where the other founding member, Kendra, was the bands pianist. The band eventually broke up but Kendra and Christopher stayed together, tying the knot in June 2019, later planting themselves in Spokane, WA to raise their 4 boys. It was there that they enlisted Lexi Bergan, a multi instrumentalist from the west side of Washington who grew up playing violin in her family band and Tim Krohn who was brought in as the bands bassist. Kendra has played piano by ear since she was 4 years old. Although she didn’t come to Nashville to for music, rather to pursue running, her gifts in music guided her to many musicians in the Nashville crowd. She began by contributing to projects as a musician but recently has began releasing her own music through her solo project Kendra Connors Chris came from many indie music projects that took him from his hometown in Minneapolis, MN all over the world eventually landing him in Nashville, TN where he met Kendra. His recent solo project Spirit of the Void has culminated his career into what is now Whimsy and the Bee After a 7 year respite from releasing music, Chris brought a number of songs to the band and they produced their first full length album “History”.
