BRUTUS is a powerful Belgian rock trio that has taken the international music scene by storm. Founded in 2014 by three friends from Leuven, the band consists of Stefanie Mannaerts (drums/vocals), Peter Mulders (bass), and Stijn Vanhoegaerden (guitar). Their unique sound emerges from Stefanie's energetic drums and powerful vocals, complemented by Stijn's ethereal guitar and Peter's driving bass lines. Their journey from local Belgian gigs to international acclaim has been remarkable. After 'BURST' (2017) through Hassle Records and Sargent House, they've continued to evolve with 'NEST' (2019) and 'Unison Life' (2022). The band has performed over 165 shows across Europe and the USA in 2023-2024, selling out venues in major European capitals and dominating festival stages. BRUTUS has earned praise from musical giants like Lars Ulrich (Metallica) and Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro), and has shared stages with Russian Circles, Thrice, and Chelsea Wolfe. Their recent Audiotree session garnered over 750,000 views, showing their growing impact. After concluding their 'Unison Life' cycle with three sold-out shows at Brussels' Ancienne Belgique in November 2024, the band is focusing on new music. Their blend of post-rock, metal, and hardcore continues to evolve, promising exciting developments ahead.
