アイスランドと日本のミックスという出自を持つSSW。Wez AtlasやVivaOlaの作品 への参加などを経て、2022年より自身の作品をリリースし、以降YOSA & TAAR、 Sam is Ohm、ザ・おめでたズなどとのコラボでも注目を集めた。2024年12月には 自身初となるEP『heat shock』を発表。本作にはSam is Ohm、Shin Sakiura、 TAAR、Mori Zentaro、大井隆寛がプロデューサーとして参加し、リリース時には Spotify JapanのプレイリストSoul Music Japanへのカバーアーティスト選出をはじ め、数多くのプレイリストにピックアップされた。また、収録曲“ruby”は『秘密の ケンミンSHOW極』2025年1月クールのEDテーマにも起用され話題となり、音楽メ ディアSpincoasterが2025年注目アーティストを選出する『SPOTLIGHT 2025』に もピックアップされた。ハスキーで圧倒的な歌唱力とユーモラスな歌詞、そして自 身のルーツであるアイスランドや中学時代を過ごしたシンガポールなど、様々なカ ルチャーからの影響を作品に落とし込み、独自の世界観を表現している。 Sagiri Sól is a singer-songwriter from Japan and Iceland. She first gained attention through collaborations with Wez Atlas and VivaOla, and began releasing her own music in 2022. Since then, she has worked with YOSA & TAAR, Sam is Ohm, and The Omedetaz. Her debut EP heat shock, released in December 2024, showcases a genre-blending sound with production by Sam is Ohm, Shin Sakiura, TAAR, Mori Zentaro, and Takahiro Ōi. The EP earned her the cover of Spotify Japan’s Soul Music Japan playlist and several other editorial features. The track “ruby” was chosen as the ending theme for the January 2025 season of Himitsu no Kenmin SHOW Kyoku, and she was named one of Spincoaster’s SPOTLIGHT 2025 breakthrough artists. With her husky, expressive vocals, witty lyricism, and a sound shaped by her multicultural background—including time in Iceland and Singapore—Sagiri Sól continues to create music that is uniquely her own.
