Chris Chitsey

Fresh off the biggest radio success of his career, American country music veteran Chris Chitsey joins forces with one of the United Kingdom's most exciting emerging artists, Bee Smith, for their highly anticipated duet, "Summer Before The Fall," available now via Clinetel Nashville Records with distribution by SONY/The Orchard. Chitsey enters the collaboration following the success of "Where Ya Been Girl," his 11th worldwide No. 1 single and highest-charting release to date. Written by Nashville hitmakers Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip, the song further solidified his place among country music's most enduring artists. Produced by acclaimed Nashville producer D. Scott Miller, "Summer Before The Fall" explores the hope, uncertainty, and vulnerability that emerge when lifelong friends stand on the edge of something more. Rich instrumentation, soaring harmonies, and cinematic lyrics bring the emotional story to life. Together, the pair blend Chitsey's Texas-bred authenticity with Smith's U.K. country roots, creating a truly international country music experience. The duo recently returned from Cancun, where they filmed the song's stunning music video against a backdrop of turquoise waters, white-sand beaches, and luxury yachts. Already earning a 2026 Josie Music Awards nomination for Vocal Event of the Year, "Summer Before The Fall" showcases country music's unique ability to connect artists and audiences across borders through timeless storytelling and unforgettable songs.
