London-based Irish artist THEO makes pop-soul with attitude - like if Paloma Faith, Jungle & La Roux all had a baby. Verified by a PRS Women Make Music award, BBC Introducing, Ireland Music Week and developed by Grammy-winning Naughty Boy (Beyoncé, Sam Smith), she's built a fast-growing community through fan-led activations and storytelling - her confused Irish Catholic upbringing, navigating her 20s in London, safe spaces for the anxious girlies. "Can't Dance (Feels Like a Remedy)" is disco-coded and made to move - a lairy, sassy anthem about letting go of what no longer serves you. Written after lingering too long on a painful breakup, it's about the push & pull of short-term gratification: "feels like a remedy, but you're no good for me."
