Vile Sycophant

Vile Sycophant is a deathcore act hailing from Wales, UK. Conceived by Harry Tadayon, known for his work as the guitarist of blackened deathcore band Worm Shepherd. Founded in 2025, Vile Sycophant debuted with their first EP, "Delivered from Madness". These four tracks draw deeply from the worlds of Japanese music, film scores, and video game soundtracks, weaving a rich and unpredictable sonic experience. With a relentless drive to evolve, the band refuses to stay confined within the lines of symphonic deathcore, always searching for new inspirations far beyond the genre’s walls. With the 2026 release of "Death of a Shadow", Vile Sycophant leans even further into the Japanese influence with inspiration from folklore, video game storytelling, instrumentation and melodies, channeling fast speeds, tense atmosphere and aggressive impact. The band's upcoming EP, "Okami", will showcase a further evolution of the project. Building upon the foundations of their previous releases, the EP promises to deliver a more ambitious and immersive listen, further establishing Vile Sycophant's place in the deathcore landscape.
