Diode

Crank it up until your eardrums start to distort, then dial it back just a little, and you have the appropriate volume to listen to DIODE, the dirty and dynamic rock duo from Prince George, BC. The wall of sound created by a single bass guitar and drum set is built brick by brick, each one pulled from a different corner of the genre. Alternative, stoner, garage, blues, and hard rock, all stacked together to form DIODE's eclectic sonic fingerprint. Solid, loud, and unmistakable. Formed in 2025, DIODE takes inspiration from such signature sounds as Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Audioslave, White Stripes, and Rage Against the Machine, to name just a few. They take a hands-on approach to everything they do, from writing and recording, to release and promotion. No shortcuts, no gloss. Just good, honest rock music made to move air and turn heads.
