Fliptyce

Fliptyce, born Folorunso Busayo Philips, is an award-winning Nigerian record producer, composer, songwriter and music educator. He began producing music while studying Geology and Applied Geophysics at Ekiti State University. Known for his distinctive and innovative sound, Fliptyce has contributed to the global rise of Afrobeats while working across Afro-pop, R&B, hip-hop and EDM. His production credits include P-Square, Akon, Yemi Alade, May D, Davido and Ice Prince. Beyond record production, Fliptyce has composed and arranged scores for award-winning films, released music as an artist and collaborated on projects with creators around the world. He is the founder of So-Fly Audio, an audio technology company dedicated to educating music creators and developing tools that help them make better music. Fliptyce is also a voting member of the Recording Academy and a Grammy U mentor. His work has earned multiple awards and nominations, including recognition from the Nigeria Entertainment Awards, The Future Awards Africa, AFRIMA, the Global Excellence Awards and The Beatz Awards.
