David Allen

David Allen writes songs that speak to real life; faith, family and the fight that shapes us. Born in the steel mill town, Pittsburgh, and refined under the Florida sun, David Allen’s music carries the grit of real life and the grace of unwavering faith. Blending modern country roots with a Southern storytelling soul, his songs echo with truth, sometimes rugged, sometimes redemptive, but always real. Whether he’s honoring legendary voices like Coach Bobby Bowden, writing for the faithful, or pulling from personal trials and triumphs, the songs that David Allen has written are the kind of songs that feel lived-in, because they are. With every lyric, his song writing delivers a message that stays long after the last note: Faith matters. Family matters. Fighting for what’s right matters. Released under his independent label, Southern Lyon Records, David Allen is building a legacy one song at a time, anchored in purpose and roaring from the South.
