the della kit

A vocalist, producer, DJ, and sonic architect, the della kit creates immersive worlds somewhere between alternative R&B, soul, jazz, hip-hop, and dreamy electronic soundscapes. Her music is deeply textured and rooted in analog soul, DJ culture, vocal looping, and the natural world. She uses her voice as both instrument and atmosphere, weaving together live looping, stacked harmonies, synths, basslines, vintage-inspired drums, and lush Rhodes to create music that feels meditative, soulful, and alive. Since her debut album *moonbeams + frequencies* in 2022, the della kit has surpassed one million streams worldwide and earned praise from MTV Canada, Exclaim and Range Magazine. Her work lives at the intersection of sound, spirituality, movement, and connection, always searching for the space where music can shift something inside you. Her latest album, *Dreams Speaking in Colour*, released August 21 via Birthday Cake Records, is her most self-directed work yet. Largely self-produced, the 10-song project brings together her worlds as a vocalist, producer, DJ, and sonic storyteller, moving through rhythm, introspection, psychedelia, and soul. *Dreams Speaking in Colour* has landed on Apple Music playlists including *Feels, Indie Soul,* and *Astral Escape*, alongside artists such as Erykah Badu, The Alchemist, André 3000, Flying Lotus, and BADBADNOTGOOD. The album has also been receiving regular spins on CBC Music and SiriusXM.
