Twisted Dev

Twisted Dev is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and rapper/singer coming out of Northern Virginia (DMV). Dev knows how to concoct the right style of beat to show off his producing and guitar skills as well as his unorthodox delivery and flow with a rock edge and a signature rap voice that leaves an indelible taste. What sets Dev apart the most from other producers and artists is that he uses the electric guitar to base every instrumental around. This is surely uncanny, making his music a true hybrid between rock and rap. This leaves an “old soul” feeling to the music, with a modern twist to bring it home to the casual hip hop, rock or Top 40 listener, providing enough ear candy to go around for all types of tastes and aficionados. Dev’s lyrics are all from real life experiences that may seem unbelievable, but truth be told he went through it and now lives to tell the story. Dev attempts to reel in the old school golden era of hip hop and rock from the 90s with his beat production, also entangling different genres such as jazz, funk, and R&B, to create an instrumental atmosphere, accompanied with a fresh take on crafting a narrative all the way through the album; using metaphysical lyrical concepts, forming a brand-new sound which is sure to make waves in the industry. Make sure to follow Dev’s journey as he makes his way up through the ranks of music and leaves an impression on the world, one that is signature and truly Dev.
